In honor of tomorrow's premiere...

#1 Post by clem21 » Tue Jan 06, 2009 12:38 am

After a marathon viewing of the first seven seasons, Scrubs premieres tonight at 9/8 Central. (So I guess that's 7 for Fanny right?)
Anyway in honor of the occurrence, I've compiled a Top 11 list of the best Scrubs episodes. If you don't like Scrubs in the words of my High School History teacher "Tough Tushy." You should start watching now. ABC's got a starter kit on their website and Itunes and then you can start with the episodes below. Without further ado:

11. 124, My Blind Date - Dr. Cox's perfect game, Elliot's growth and JD's crush make for a great story
10. 406, My Cake - A poignant and comedic view of JD's father's death
9. 412, My Best Moment - A great holiday story featuring the entire gang
8. 711, My Princess - The last one shown, it turns the hospital into a great bedtime story
7. 304, My Lucky Night - Season 3's best with The Riddle, The Hairmet and Dr. Leaveandwinnnerback
6. 521, My Fallen Idol - JD drags his mentor out of depression, and overcomes his own fears
5. 606, My Musical - Very cleverly done, Personal favorite song: "Guy Love"
4. 503, My Day At The Races - Cements JD's friendship with Elliot as he hits his 30th birthday
3. 124, My Last Day - Jordan's rant may be the best Scrubs moment ever
2. 222, My Dream Job - No wait, Dr. Cox's punch-out of Dr. Kelso is by far the best
1. 520, My Lunch - The saddest, strongest, and most relatable episode of Scrubs all-time

Hey Bob, I got a riddle for you: Two coins add up to 30 cents and one of them isn't a nickel. What are they O' brilliant one?

Heh heh. A quarter and a nickel. The quarter is the one that isn't a nickel. :P

If I could just get a DVR-type thingy that blacked out Zach Braff's petulant face, I might just watch the show.........

A Top 11? Couldn't hold it to Top 10?

I'm not finished yet (I actually won't be finished because I only have Seasons 1-6). I had company this weekend, so that shot a lot of viewing time.

You will probably not be there, since starting next week it's up against American Idol. Unless you're one of those Obscenely Rich Bastards with a DVR and all.....

It was a total bummer, they cut out all the good stuff.

Rock of Love Bus, however, is all I thought it would be AND MORE! Puts ROL2 to shame already.

Haven't caught that yet, but ... Oh, my. Now I will make it a point.

Sharon told Megan Hauserman that she should not procreate. Megan told her that she's only famous for marrying a brain-dead rock star. Sharon threw a drink on her and then attacked her. There was weave-shredding and scratching involved. Megan left the hospital with her arm in a sling and made out a police report over the incident.

"Charm School" host attacking a "student" on camera. Charming, indeed. Say goodbye to a heap of Ozzy's money, Sharon!

Love, love, love Scrubs! My DVR is set to record the entire season, so I'm set. I didn't start watching it until Season 5, so I still have a bunch to catch up on. I'm glad I didn't wait that long to start watching How I Met Your Mother, the other show that I ignored way too long.

If you're watching himym, then be sure not to miss its lead-in, "the Big Bang Theory," which I like even better.

Not exactly Fanny also mentioned:

That show, which cut out one very obvious piece was the one to which I was referring...

Fanny's entire quote was:
It was a total bummer, they cut out all the good stuff.

Rock of Love Bus, however, is all I thought it would be AND MORE! Puts ROL2 to shame already.
The stuff she was talking about being cut was obviously from Charm School.

If you already knew that there was something cut from RoLB too, you should have just said so, rather than asking what was cut, which clearly appeared to be referencing CS. I wouldn't have wasted my time telling you about Sharon vs. Megan, which was the big story on the web.

From what was shown, at least from what I saw - Sharon dumped a drink of some sort on Megan - who completely had it coming. Sharon lunged towards Megan, and everything else was completely obstructed by other people until you see Megan being escorted out of the building with a bouncer-type individual holding each of her arms at the elbows. I can pretty much guarantee not a soul that was there will testify on Megan's behalf.

She won't need anyone testifying on her behalf. Her lawyers will be able to procure the tape.

There are articles all over the web about the missing sequence. It has been on sites and blogs for nearly a month, since the 12/13 (I think) taping.
