I should like to sing a song dedicated to Texas BBs.
In old Ohio there's a team,
That's known throughout the land;
Eleven warriors, brave and bold,
Whose fame will ever stand.
And when the ball goes over,
Our cheers will reach the sky,
Ohio Field will hear again
The Buckeye Battle Cry.
Drive! Drive on down the field;
Men of the scarlet and gray!
Don't let them thru that line,
We've got to win this game today!
Come on, Ohio!
Smash thru to victory!
We'll cheer you as you go;
Our honor defend
So we'll fight to the end
For Ohio.

I don't see any references to Texas in that song.

Thanks, Nitrah, but I'm not a UT fan, so I'm taking a Thousandaire on this one.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!
That'll be $10, please.

Without actually being aware of the details, I presumed some sort of rivalry was in progress. But since nitrah chose to dedicate the subject line as he did, I decided on the simple observation approach.Ritterskoop wrote:Texas and Ohio State play in football tonight.MarleysGh0st wrote:I don't see any references to Texas in that song.
What Bowl are they playing tonight?

I'm predicting an Ohio State upset! Also I think we should bring back Eddie George to coach in some capacity. I miss Eddie George. I still have my #27 Eddie George jersey and I'll be wearing it tonight even though it hasn't been that lucky the past couple years...

I may be wrong nitrah, but I think it will be a Texas rout tonight.

Even if the game sucks, the band doing the Script Ohio is worth it.
I hope Fox shows it.

I don't like UT, but I will cheer for them to beat Ohio State.
I definitely cheered for them when they beat USC for the title. I was amused and annoyed at all the tv & radio commentators basically saying there was no way that UT could hang with USC in that game.
I will even get to see the game tonight. I was supposed to have the first rehearsal for Cheap by the Dozen, but the Director canceled because of the potential for icy conditions.

The first time the grounds crew did not have at least a week to convert the stadium for the Fiesta Bowl

I'm a Texas BB but I'm rooting for the Big 10 team tonight.
If I don't actually root for Ohio State but the "Big 10 team" I can live with myself.

Oh, well, just like last year, there's always next year.
The band did a double script Ohio. Hope you saw it.
