Tennis game is great, and baseball and bowling. But I have not played any of them since I got the Fit. That thing kills me, in a good way.

I agree about the bowling. It is very fun.
I tried the golf but that is going to take some more practice to get to the enjoyable part of it.
Tennis and baseball were OK. Boxing was boring.
We also played Mario Kart. That was a lot of fun. I got hammered by my nieces and nephews but I steadily improved. The kids had some other game that they played but I don't know the name.

I've been trying and trying to find Mario Kart, but no success yet. I got the steering wheel for it, but can't find the game here. I haven't tried the other games, but I got my dad a system, and he absolutely loves the fishing game he got for it.

At one time, we had the opposite issue. We had Mario Kart, but one of my nephews apparently pilfered the steering wheel. I had to go buy another wheel.tlynn78 wrote:I've been trying and trying to find Mario Kart, but no success yet. I got the steering wheel for it, but can't find the game here. My son currently is enjoying Mario Slugger, which he got from "Santa Claus", and a Star Wars light saber game that was a gift from my MIL, along with the sabers into which we place the Wii controllers for a two-person duel.
I am guessing that we now have between 15-20 games for the Wii, and only a few have been related to "never play" status.
Wii Sports and Wii Play maybe get played once a month. My son started to get interested in my Tiger Woods Golf, right until he had a terrible putting hole.

You do not need to move anything but your arm to bowl on the Wii. In fact, as my daughter has demonstrated, minimizing movement seems to allow for the best chance to achieve a repetitive strike motion.

True, but my goal is to move more, whatever I'm doing. That, and one of our rules for that particular "tournament" at my house this weekend was to actually do the approach, etc. and another was I had to throw every other 'ball' with my left arm.You do not need to move anything but your arm to bowl on the Wii. My brother is ammbidextrous, and can bowl equally well from either side, which makes some of those spares relatively easy.

I got talked into getting the Guitar Hero World Tour bundle (aka, the Rock Band knockoff) with the microphone and drum kit. I never realized exactly how uncoordinated I am, but the drumming has done a great job of proving it to me.

I like the Wii Balance Board.
There is a program where you can pretend to walk across a tightrope. I always deliberately jump off the tightrope and it freaks my kids out.

Re: Wii
Have you guys tried the Training section?
The tennis volleying game is addictive.
As is the bowling where they add a full back row every round. (You must roll at 91 pins in Round 10- I've actually gotten them all once!)
The Fit is eerie. It wished me a Happy New Year on Jan 1. It also chided me for missing a day. (Since I didnt do it today, Im afraid what it's gonna say to me tomorrow!)
I have lost 1.5 pounds in 11 days, however!
