Saturday shoes

#1 Post by silvercamaro » Sat Jan 03, 2009 6:31 pm

Will somebody please buy these Manolo Blahniks from Neiman-Marcus?

I'm not sure I want to wear them, but I so want to know that a worthy person will give them a good home.

Those cannot be worn! They are works of art!

I did get the e-mail. Neiman-Marcus loves me, not because I am a good customer, but just because.

Seriously, those are fine funky shoes. I'd wear them in a minute if I could wear heels. And had a spare grand or so.

They have me stamped all over them.

We just need to make them into a flat and they will be in my closet.

Oh - and cut the price tag, a lot.

I realize that this is almost blasphemy in this particular shoe thread, however...
I asked the guys to get me some cheap flipflops for Christmas. The kind I just threw away because they've tried to kill me multiple times.

Instead they bought a pair of on-sale ($5) No Boundaries Crocs' knockoff. They're white and I certainly probably maybe won't ever wear them in public.

HOWEVER, please don't beat me, but they are THE most comfortable shoes I've worn in years. Years. Simply revelatory in comfort. And they were $5 at WalMart. Yes! MECCA!!!

I see no reason to buy some Crocs for $30 when I can go to WalMart for $5.

These slipons are the bomb bomb bomb.

You're right, it's blasphemy! I'll let you by since it was a gift from your sons. Can't believe they admitted they were only $5 but I know they are glad mama.is happy. :)
