Hugs and prayers needed for Fuzzy

#1 Post by christie1111 » Fri Jan 02, 2009 6:01 pm

She and her husband have had a rough year with an even worse holiday.

She asked me to let the Bored know.

FuzzyHusband's mother passed away on Tuesday, Dec 30, 2008 after entering the hospital on Christmas Day.

From Fuzzy:

Please let them know that I have them all in my thoughts and hope that they are all doing well! I will be in Huntington Beach briefly for the funeral Jan 7-9, 2009, then onto Erie, PA

I will forward all your comments to her.

I was just thinking about her recently, too, though I can't recall the reason now. Send along my condolences, thoughts and prayers.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Hoping for a better '09 for you and your family, Fuzzy. I was thinking of you recently when I watched the Christmas DVD you sent me last year as my Secret Santa. Mel
