How do you shoot yourself in the chest with a 22? Are ones arms long enough to do that?

How can it not be life threatening?

I guess if it's nowhere near your heart, and the lung only collapses without incident, it's not a big deal.

I had a punctured lung once. Reestablish the vacuum and you are good to go. Hurts like hell but you can get by with one lung, I think. For a while.

Do you really need long arms to shoot yourself with a .22 handgun?

(However, it would be hard to shoot yourself in the chest with a toe-fired handgun, gouty or not.)
