A lingerie football league player is suing her ex-lover after he allegedly posted nude pictures of her on the Internet and emailed them to her mother.

Melissa Berry, a 24-year-old rookie linebacker with the Tampa Breeze franchise of the Lingerie Football League, is seeking $15,000 in unspecified damages from her ex-boyfriend Mark Dawson, a 45-year-old safe dating expert, whom she dated earlier this fall.

Obviously a safe dating expert is someone that can look at a safe and tell you when it was manufactured.

How does a city go about getting a franchise?

Lingerie Football League

Season starts Sept. 4, 2009. It looks like there is one league game per week until January 22, 2010. Each team plays four games spread out about once a month. The championship game will be February 7, 2010, the same day as Super Bowl XLIV.

East
New England Euphoria
Chicago Bliss
Atlanta Steam
Miami Caliente
Tampa Breeze

West
Los Angeles Temptation
Phoenix Scorch
Seattle Mist
San Diego Seduction
Dallas Desire

I'm not sure about the rules but it seems to be a form of Arena football. A broadcast partner has not been announced.
