It's a Rout

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Sun Dec 28, 2008 3:28 pm

Cats-3, purses-0
Cats-7, shoes-0

Granted, I was going to donate or toss most of the shoes because they were either trying to kill me or were dead themselves. One pair of sandals, however, were one of my faves.

The purses were still in service.

Macaroni and glitter would not trump cat pee and poop as decorations.
Well, then

I thought this was going to be about the Broncos-Chargers game.

24 to 6! Holy cow!

Come on, guys!

My family moved to San Diego in 1869. My daughter, granddaughter and great-grandchildren live outside of Denver. I grew up in Oakland rooting for the Raiders and hating Denver and San Diego.

Who to root for?

Chargers will be the first team ever to make the playoffs after falling four games under .500 at some point in the season (correction- Michaels and Madden got that wrong- it's the second time that's happened- the first was 1992, when...wait for it...the CHARGERS made the playoffs after starting off 0-4).

Broncos will be the first team ever to miss the postseason after leading their division outright for every week of the season (save the last, of course!)

What a weird friggin' season this has been!

This is why my bedroom is Off Limits. And why I had a second set of doors added to fence off the living/dining room after he decorated the rug that cost more than the dining room set.

Animal lovers sure are whack to put up with this.....shit. Literally.

Thanks again, Pea.

Ben apparently had "only" a concussion. He's expected to be fine by the next game in two weeks.

As for me, I remember red-hot Rocktember, followed by a loooooong layoff and hope for the best for Big Ben.
