I give up!

#1 Post by kayrharris » Fri Dec 26, 2008 12:56 pm

I've gotten Chapman to sleep twice now in the past hour, only to have the phone
wake him up both times! He has had 10 minutes sleep total. His sister fell asleep on the floor
waiting for me to get him settled. She's sound asleep and he is now in his crib whining.

Surely he'll fall asleep soon, very soon.

You could try throwing the phone in the pool, along with the Elmo Restaurant......

My home phone almost never rings! The timing was unbelievable both times!
It may very well end up in the pool.

I would unplug all land lines during those situations. I've done it when Jeff or the boys were in bed ill or it was early. That way you don't have to worry about waking them up or worry about who's calling. It's most excellent.
Well, then

You could try taking him for a drive. It worked for Emma when she was little.

They didn't leave his car seat and I haven't sprung for one of my own since I don't
take him that many places right now. I'm sure I'll be getting one soon.

You are such a good Grandma.

I wish I had someone within 3000 miles who would have watched our kids.
