What a coincidence! My grandmother Isabel used to make brains and eggs. But not as a treat, the only other person I remember eating them was my dad (with ketchup, even). But my grandma also used to eat pigs' knuckles (or was it pigs' feet? I'ver repressed the memory of that nasty looking jar), so her culinary taste was a bit suspect.

I blame it on Illinois.

That is going to cost you for insulting my fine, upstanding state.

Please send $50,000 in small, unstamped bills to LB's house. He'll enter it in WG and send it up my way....
Show me the #&*(@ money!

Hey, it was my Grandma's state long before it was yours.

Do I get a discount if I sent them pre-stamped?

Marking before entering is a huge WG sin. They ban people over there who don't follow the rules....

Nope, it's generational, not geographical. Mom made brains and eggs a few times but quit when she couldn't take the chorus of "yuck!" and "on no" anymore. I also remember a few jars of pickled pigs' feet, but I think she finally gave the last one away to someone who really did like them.

This sounds like something out of a very bad horror movie.
