Plaxico's Not in Good Hands Anymore
Plaxico Burress is in more trouble, this time in civil court. He's been sued in Florida after an auto accident this spring in which he allegedly rear ended a woman's vehicle with his $140,000 Mercedes. Making matters worse is the fact that, according to Allstate, his insurance had lapsed three days earlier for nonpayment of premiums. Oops.

Now it was in the off-season, but as long as Gene Big Daddy Lipscomb is still dead, Plaxico does not compare. Of all the wasted deaths of athletes, this one stands out.
