I was wondering if Elyse Knox was too obscure, even for Melly, but there was no way I could do a game based on biographical films and not included George Arliss. Paul Muni is the most conspicuous absence, but there are no movie actors I know of with the last names of Pasteur or Zola.

And Melly learned about Clarence Muse and SSS learned about Massacre at Central High (which, I confess, I have NOT seen but read about in a great series of books about cult movies. In fact, IAMMMMW is also included as a cult movie in the same books!)

A lot of the obscure films that find their way into my puzzles are actually ones I remember seeing and thinking that it would make a good clue for an appropriate puzzle. Yet somehow I let so many years of my life slip by without seeing Massacre at Central High.

Sigh.
