Some sad news

#1 Post by andrewjackson » Mon Dec 22, 2008 10:16 am

Cat Jackson departed this mortal coil late last week.

1999-2008

He had failing kidneys and was not responding to treatment.

He will be missed.

AJ, I'm so sorry.

I tried to type more, but words are failing me.

I'm sorry, AJ. Cat was a good ole cat. (But not ole enough.)

Clyde, my favorite of all the cats I have ever had, passed the same exact way and at pretty much the same age. I'm sure that you feel as I did, that you got cheated out of those extra years.I am so sorry to read this, AJ. My sympathies to you and your family. That was the fate of the previous cat here, Weasel. But if he were still here, I wouldn't be, so it's all good for your next cat!

Aw... that's too bad. Our cats are stuck inside due to the snow. They go out a few steps and turn around and come back inside.

It's tough to lose a pet, especially at holiday time.

Just keep the good memories with you.

I'm also so sorry to hear of your loss. My daughter & hubby lost their cat Philly (Phil Mickleson) to the same damn kidney thing this summer and he was nearly 9 years old as well. Too early to lose a cat for sure. I'm giving Eddie the cat a special hug right now. He's only 4 so hopefully we have a few more years with him.

Our neighbours on both sides have had to put their dogs down in the last couple of weeks. Very sad at this time of year.

My condolences added.

And I hope he meets Bruce the Wonder Cat up in Heaven somewhere.
