Essentially, a blanket with sleeves. I love the guy working on his laptop in his snuggie.

I see that commercial at least 5 times an hour these days. It's the most
ridiculous looking thing I've ever seen.

I saw adds for Chia Pets and The Clapper over the weekend, time to stock up for Christmas.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I wouldn't buy one of those either.

I like how the commercial shows people walking around with it--it looks like a plush monk's robe! But I don't believe it would stay closed without a belt, so it'd be more like a hospital gown-style monk's robe. :P

Billy Mays, your Oxy-Clean got out a six-year-old stain on a dress that Demon Child gave to Erin, so you can yell at me today.

I think I'm the target market for the Snuggie. I am wearing my robe over my clothes (okay--one of my 4 robes...) and I have finally admitted my addiction to slipper socks, which is the first step to recovery. And I don't mind looking like a total dork, because I am one.........

I couldn't make it through the winter without my goose down bathrobe, which I'm currently wearing over my clothes. If the doorbell rings, I am faced with the decision to take off the robe before I open the door to a cold blast of air or to keep it on -- and fib, "Sorry for the robe. I'm not feeling well today."

I would rather be a warm dork than redefine "cool" as shivering. I don't have any slipper socks, though, so I've got that going for me.

I guess having a bit more meat on my bones keeps me warmer than SC.
I like my down comforter on my bed, but I don't want to be "bundled up" during the day.
