Normally - as in 99.44% of the time - I will give the benefit of the doubt...
to the contestant as well as to the PAFs. But I will confess to a MBFFB Moment while watching today's show...
Radon? Holy Mother of God.
And from an honest-to-God Rocket Scientist at that. (I know - not the same as a chemist or biologist. But still.)
Although this does create a whole new mental image concerning glowing potatoes...

That would definitely work! It would be rather fatal to the consumers though.

Today, December 8th, 2008, is a day which will live in infamy for rocket scientists everywhere.
On the other hand, I think they brought in a good Expert this week.
Pat Kiernan did a great job on Grand Slam, and he seems to have some substance and depth to back up his style.
