A scenario

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Mon Dec 08, 2008 3:15 pm

The events in this story are true. Only the adults names have been changed to protect their pride.

Wednesday 2 pm mathclass

"Mr. Jones, I have to leave early today for an appointment."

"okay, Big J. See you tomorrow"

Thursday 2 pm mathclass

"Mr. Jones, I have to leave early again today for another appointment."

"Well, BigJ, did you hand in a note from your parents for yesterday and today? No? Okay we will have to clear this with Mr. Smith the Vice Principal"

15 minutes later....

Ring Ring...Hello Mrs. MotherofBigJ. This is Mr. Jones. BigJ says he has to leave early for an appointment today, and also he left early yesterday....what's that you say? The appointment yesterday was for an hour after school? There is NO appointment today? Well, Mrs. MotherofBigJ, do you need BigJ home today after school, or can he be somewhat late? He can? Thankyou.

Fast forward to Thursday evening, where BigJ is recovering from the horrendous experience of having to clean graffitti from the walls of two washrooms, sweep and clean out a study center, and faces a week of 1/2 hour math detentions.

What can one possibly say.....
