Wish me luck

#1 Post by JBillyGirl » Sat Dec 06, 2008 10:16 pm

Tomorrow (Sunday, Dec. 7), is the drawing for the Q104.3 radio contest I entered several weeks ago. I don't know how many people are in the running -- I'm guessing more than 100 -- and $104,000 is up for grabs. Instead of rehashing my explanation, I'll direct you to my original thread:

Apparently it's all random, no skill involved, and has something to do with harness racing. With snow in the forecast and 4 trains + 1 bus to catch each way, part of me is just hoping to get there and back in one piece. It's going to be a loooong day in any case. Any good vibes would be much appreciated. :D

I am back. And I did not win. But I had a reasonably good time, though I'm kind of wiped. Gotta get ready to go back to work tomorrow.

Thanks for all the good vibes. They probably helped me catch my bus and trains on time. :D
