Has now made the freshman Basketball team. He was so excited to see whether his name would be posted that he was ready before Husband1111 this morning.
Apologies in advance for any future stories/bragging.
He had grades that allowed him to play football, but it turns out he let a couple of things slide a bit so they passed the school rules, but not really up to the house rules.
He has been advised that even if his grades are acceptable to the school rules, he must meet house rules, or he will be benched by his parental units.

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think finding his niche will help him in all areas of school. I'm starting to see Mini-me trying to find himself while following in the very large footprints of his big brothers, and I'm trying to guide him towards sports, which isn't their thing so he won't have to compete with their shadows. Because his alternative seems to be Class Clown, and I'm not letting that start while he's in 4th grade.

LOL - bad, I agree, but the Worst Gym Bag award goes to (tie) my two soccer-playing sons.

Organic chemists never die. They just smell like that.

I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I'm glad sports is also helping him academically. I can't
think of anything better happening to a kid. Congratulations!

I dunno, I must say that my son's baseball bag would give some
stiff competition here...
That whole side of the house stinks like boy.

Congrats to son1111.

Congrats to Son 1111! That is so cool. Both my guys played b-ball for the school team (for awhile) and did competitive league stuff throughout school. I love watching young guys play b-ball. Fortunately, I had allergies a lot and couldn't smell all the foulness.
I lie.
Well, then
