I had tried to do a very small upgrade to the software (going from version 3.0.1 to version 3.0.3) but it didn't take, for some reason, so I rolled it back.

You saw error messages, I'm sure. I did. :?

But, that was all, just a drive-by update. I'm done for the night. Hopefully I can sneak back in here sometime soon and implement some of the other things I've been planning on doing.

Yep, I was wondering why the error messages kept coming up....

How is the search for a new chat room going?

That would be part of those "other things" I mentioned.

I've got a few picked out, but will need some more time to sort through them and pick one. I'm off from work the entire last half of this month.....perhaps I'll have to grab you during your "weekend" one of those weeks, and we can look at a few of the chat options.

Wow, you musta been saving that vacation time!

Let me know when, and I'll be available to assist however I can. Of course, my weekend's going to fall during both holidays this year, which is both a blessing and a curse as far as I'm concerned.....

A combination of vacation time, holiday days that I can move around (since my normal off-days right now are Wednesday and Thursday too) and trading days with co-workers (and I've already "paid" for nearly all of those trades.) The scheduling flexibility of my current position is one of its biggest perks.

And whadda ya know......I realized that I had left out an upgrade step, and so I went back and did a quick switcheroo (apologies to anyone currently on the Bored that might have gotten an error message) and filled in the missing step this time, and now the Bored is fully updated to phpBB 3.0.3. Not that anyone's going to notice any functional differences, but I do like to keep things up-to-date when possible.

I'll be in touch about the chat updates, probably on a Wednesday later this month. :)

They're not?
Spoiler
They'd better be, dammit.

EDIT: Ok, the "spoiler=" tag is aesthetically messed up a bit, but both tags look like they're still doing what they should. I'll have to look back through tomorrow and see if I can fix that. I need to go back to bed now, or I'm not going to have a job to take vacation from.

Ugh, I guess I better post a warning in the LS thread.....

I'm the only one who's figured out the theme so far, and I don't want anyone copying off of me.... :P :P :P

Hmmm, they're still working in my usual theme of choice (Getaway Blue) but it looks like the two default themes (prosilver and subsilver2) have broken spoiler tags.

That might be easy enough to fix.......

Don't think I haven't considered causing, um, accidental irreparable damage to the HK interface a few times once I saw the mania it inspired amongst certain people.

Spolier tags should be fixed. Updates to the software tend to make changes to the prosilver and subsilver2 themes, since they were built-in to begin with, and that often involves replacing files I had to edit in order to create the spoiler tags. I'll have to remember to check for that in the future.

The extra black box in the spoiler= spoilers. I think you noticed it too since you said it was asthetically messed up....

Like I said, no biggie for now, but if it can be fixed at some other time to the way it was with just the single spoiler line no matter how large the spoiler was....
