Stopping every so often for a sip of tea, a quiet chuckle and an emoticon search. I also envision pearls and a vase of fresh flowers being in play somehow.
Perfect on everything except the tea. Unless she is just fooling us with all that "I just spit coffee/Coke all over my monitor" line.....

And when she's tired of her gratuity, she goes back to her knitting....

I didn't post one time from my Blackberry today, thank you. I was off but very

Handwritten thank you note? What, you think people just have notebooks and pencils lying about the place?

PS She did send me a handwritten thank you note once and she has lovely penmanship!
Why thank you, Fanny.

I have no doubt that she does. In fact, I'd have been absolutely astonished if she didn't....

People with such beautiful penmanship should never express their thoughts by punching a bunch of little keys....

Actually, that wasn't my writing. I printed the label on the computer. Ha!

People have notebook pages?? Is your girlfriend Kiki one of them?
The slip of paper inside with my address was handwritten....

No, I have never sent Kiki anything before. But three people who all live in the same general area have all received stuff from me in the past, and along with it, the gift of Bored history.....

lb13
Yeah, I'm still waiting for that present!! I'll be patient.

WheresFanny wrote: Is he left or right handed?

When I positioned my paper like we were supposed to, I wrote with a backslant. And my fourth grade teacher had some grudge against them, so every paper handed in with a backslant was given an immediate zero. I can't hook my hand like most lefthanders (there's a theory about hook writers and brain dominance, so that might be part of the reason he starts in a different place) to pull the pencil instead of pushing it. So, necessity being the mother of invention, I just started writing sideways.

It helps in calligraphy, though, since that's more like drawing lines than writing.
He's a righty. I'm one of those weirdos who does learned things as a righty and natural things as a lefty. So I bat right but throw left. I served drinks lefty, then switched the tray so I could take orders righty. It's no wonder my kids are screwy, huh?
He could be a lefthander writing as a righthander, so his brain is telling him to do the opposite of what physics dictate.

I used to throw right just because there weren't any lefthanded gloves. Once I got my own glove, I could go back to throwing left. I throw like a girl with my right hand.

My mom and my sister do everything right handed except count money and deal cards. I count money and deal cards right handed. I crochet right handed because my grandma had such a hard time trying to teach me lefthanded and I wanted to learn so bad that I did it right handed. When I had surgery on my right arm I had an afghan to finish for a gift and had to do it with my left. It felt so damned awkward!

I also run a 10 key right handed. Since they were all situated on the right hand sides of the desks I decided to learn it with my right hand. That way I can keep the pencil in my left hand to write down the numbers and I had much better times than those who had to take their hand off the machine, pick up the pencil, etc. And yet no right handers had the smart idea to learn it left handed? What gives? Ha!
I had to read this one several times before I understood everything. My MIL was left handed, but her mother only allowed her to write left handed, nothing else. Four out of seven in my family are lefties (not me) and they all have a different writing style.
