How about she just sends you a handwritten thank you note? It'd keep her off the Raspberry for a while too.....

Handwritten thank you note? What, you think people just have notebooks and pencils lying about the place?

PS She did send me a handwritten thank you note once and she has lovely penmanship!

My handwriting is so bad my son's teacher once asked if he was sure his mom had signed the paper. I told him if she questions it again to tell her his dad's is worse. Because it is. I'm shocked Rain Man has such exquisite penmanship because genetically, he's hosed. But he's overcome our Bad Writing Gene........

23.14 carat, from Harry Winston:

Kinda gaudy for my tastes....

Will Kay have to claim it from the Salvation Army?

You might get it, but you ain't fooling anyone here with those dimples and batted eyelashes. Even if you've got your professors hoodwinked!

The is clearly the Asylum thread where all the inmates go to chat. 100+ posts!!!!
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Shame on all of you for steering Kiki's birthday thread into the ditch!

Happy Birthday, Kiki!
