Golden Moldies

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Wed Nov 26, 2008 10:42 am

This song came off an album which had three gold records on it. This is a #1 hit off that album. Name the artist:

I got a song that ain't no melody, I'm gonna sing it to my friends (repeat)

CHORUS
Will it go round in circles, will it fly high like a bird up in the sky
(repeat)

I got a story ain't no moral, I let the bad guy win every once in a while
(repeat)

repeat CHORUS

I got a dance that ain't got no steps, I'm gonna let the music move me
around (repeat)

repeat CHORUS

INSTRUMENTAL

repeat CHORUS
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller

Good job, Ear. RadioDude was listing everybody Billy ever played with. The list went on and on and on . . . in a circle! :D

Darn... ear beat me to it.

Hey, given all of the artists that Billy Preston worked with, I wonder if he ever stole any songs from J.J. Cale. :P
