It's not my connection that slows me down. It's mainly my lack of a mouse. I have a laptop with a little red nub sticking up between the G, H, and B keys, which I use to control the cursor. It's not very accurate or responsive, and I often have to make a few tries to click exactly where I need to, so that probably costs me a second or two per question, on average, which might be a few thousand points per month, at least. If there were big bucks at stake, I'd get better equipment.

I'm actually having a good month so far. I haven't missed any questions yet. Didn't there used to be a place where you could see your average response time? I don't see it anymore, so maybe it now requires a paid subscription to see it.

I'll bet it has an IBM sticker on it too. Can't you plug in a mouse?
