I know you listen to Ed Schultz. Ed's son Dave has made it through both the 1st and 2nd stages of the PGA Tour Qualifying. He will now play in the final stage in early December in an attempt to get a tour card. If nothing else he will again have playing status on the Nationwide Tour (he finished around 80th on that tour last year) with either full or partial status depending on where he finishes in the final stage. Dave was a pretty dominant player in our state amateur events.

Yeah, Ed has been talking about that on his show throughout this week. I don't get to watch a whole lot of golf on TV anymore because I'm always busy with other things, but I certainly hope that Dave makes it in the PGA Tour this year. As happy as Ed was about the results of the 2008 election, I can guarantee that nothing would make him happier than to see his son in the PGA Tour.
