I can't believe they can keep this stuff on the shelves in PA, as I am sure BDM buys it all as soon as it arrives.

The mind boggles.

I haven't bought bacon in such a long time (the husband and the Lipitor deal) but I'm thinking about making some corn chowder since it's so cold these days. Mmmmmmmmmmmm........

So cold you can't wear your flip-flops today, huh?

All I want to do is fly out of Syracuse Friday morning so that I can get to Mickey Country. Not only is the lake effect snow coming down, but there's an Alberta Clipper on the way! :x

Pass me some of that corn chowder, please.

I saw in the Houston Chronicle this morning that The Woodlands is getting a new gourmet grocery store, Hubbell & Hudson. They pledge that they will not have "Tide, Coke, or Kibbles 'n Bits" but the article says they will have fresh rabbit, goat ice cream, and chocolate bars with bacon bits.

I don't know if this is it but it could be:

While looking for that I also found this from a bakery in Chicago. The Bacon Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcake:

I bet it's probably actually good.

And it legitimizes the practice of women everywhere who eat chocolate and bacon together at certain times of the month, or when pregnant. It's not weird, it's gourmet!! 8)

No bacon bits involved with this one. Chocolate covered bacon:

My personal rule of thumb is that just about any existing food product is better if either deep fried or covered in chocolate!! Some exceptions, but not many! :D

(Of course, I don't eat most of it!)
