I'm hoping to see the movie he was talking about, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, over Thanksgiving if I can convince the family!!

It's a story about a poor slum kid in India who gets on that country's version of the show. Reege loved it.

Thanks for the viewing tip. I just tuned in and watched the opening dialogue. Regis went on for several minutes about WWTBAM. He got a little nostalgic and said it was a great show in prime time and never should have been taken off the air. He sounded rested and ready to host again if he ever gets the call.

I guess the show isn't actually "live" when they show it here at 9 a.m.

No, the 52-minute man was the guy who followed me into the hot seat -- Nick Meyer. I was backstage during the whole thing.

As a lot of you already know, Nick has since become a tournament Scrabble player. I saw him at the Scrabble nationals this summer and was playing him online just the other night.

We don't talk about the 52 minute thing.
