I just added my first foe - some folks have more respect for zygotes than they do for folks with different opinions.

I have three foes.

I wonder if your foe is one of my foes.

Oh no! I didn't realize there was so much usage of the foe list. It's like the day you learn there's no tooth fairy!

The bad thing about a foe list is that you still have to look at the stupid headings of the threads that your foes post.

So how does it work, do you just not see any of the actual posts that your foes write?

Shame on you people, you made me actually go and read it! I enjoyed it when his posts were getting absolutely no replies or reactions. But apparently all that did was make him try harder.

Yes, I realize by replying in that thread I only abetted the encouragement. It's all Frank's fault for posting something that was worth reading!

Ditto, I had to go look, similar to the train wreck syndrome. And it is not Frank's fault, it's Rexer's fault....everything is Rexer's fault.

I only have the one foe right now too.

Thank you. I considered not doing it, but I decided not to risk having my first nosebleed in six years.

Other than the visceral satisfaction that may be derived from labeling someone a foe, is there any practical benefit to doing so? As I understand it, their posts still show up in threads (and if someone later in the thread is quoting them, you get the gist of what they were saying), so isn't it just as easy to skip over the post anyway?

And do any of our moderators/administrators keep a list of who the most popular/unpopular people here are? I have a feeling I'm pretty high on one of the lists.

If I'd read the whole thread I'd have answered my first question....

I don't think we have access to who's on each person's friends or foe list, but that would be a neat addition to the weekly rankings if we did......

I like me. My buddy the flag likes me.

Anyone else have more than two friends?

I've got a meeting in a half hour, so I don't have time to start listing my foes....
