PS You'd think in the 23rd Century, they'd have improved on the underwire bra by now. Maybe a low-level structural integrity field? But I guess pushing a button to deactivate the field wouldn't be as sensual as reaching back and deftly undoing the clasps with one hand.

Hmmmm. That link shows a Romulan. I sure hope that none of the future crew of the Enterprise sees him. That would ruin the plot of Episode 9 of TOS when humans first see Romulans and notice that they look like Vulcans.

Yes, but the SciFi channel Web site had a story that showed how even the later series (TNG, DS9, Voyager), whose producers (Rick Berman, et. al.) were supposed to be so concerned about "canon", violated it whenever they felt like it. The article had video clips demonstrating this.

I saw a trailer on Saturday when I went to see Quantum of Solace. Neither the trailer nor the movie impressed me.

Okay. The energy for a personal force field is probably prohibitive, since they still have those absurdly bulky spacesuits. Granted that the sex industry does tend to, ahem, push some technologies, this does not seem to be one of them.

Remember Scotty's Law: The more they engineer the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the toilet. Imagine a malfunctioning electronic bra and what could occur!

Besides, why mess with a good thing? There is much to be recommended in the revelation and eventual removal of undergarments ...
