I had a great time at the black and white ball on Saturday! Of course not everyone wore black and white so all my obsessing was unnecessary.
Good news though, I did manage to find a full length black gown at the last minute! I was at Nordstrom grabbing some last minute makeup and took a spin through dresses and in about 10 minutes I was headed out to my car with a brand new arrival! And it went well with shoes I had already bought (not the ones I showed here).
For those of you on Facebook, check out the photos on my page. For everyone else, I am trying to figure out how to make a facebook album public, I know there is a way...and I will get it posted here for anyone who cares. Just a note...we started drinking BEFORE we took pictures, never a good idea...

Thanks to a special helper for teaching me how to link to my Facebook album!
Even if you don't use facebook, the link to this album is public to everyone. Feel free to take a look!

I am glad that you found a dress that you liked at the last minute! I like the detailing on the shoulder of the dress.

Thank you! It was a good find. I loved it, it was so comfortable and I loved the shoulder, with the scarf that fell down the back. I wish I got better pictures, I may have to put it on again. It was a nightmare of pouring rain and everything so we were just focused on getting there dry, we didn't stop for pictures.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I am glad that you found a dress that you liked at the last minute! I didn't win the item I was bidding on for a Michael Buble package at Mohegan Sun

That is a good deal!
I once got a weeks worth of Surf Lessons (valued at $175) for $75 at one of those charity auctions.
