Deserved. Oh yeah, Lou Pineilla was named Manager of the Year for the National League. I suppose the voting was BEFORE the post season. I suppose.

Yeah, they base the voting solely on the regular season.

I think this was first baseball season in which I did not watch so much as one single inning. Not even the World Series.

I would have voted for Joe Torre for NL Manager of the Year. All the Cubs did was win a division title they were heavily favored to win.
