"Ward, I'm worried about the Beaver's bronze statue"

Tony Dow, the actor, director and artist best known for his portrayal of Wally Cleaver, the all-American big brother on television’s “Leave It To Beaver,” will have one of his sculptures on display at the Louvre (sort of) in December, The Associated Press reported. Mr. Dow’s sculpture “Unarmed Warrior,” a bronze work of a woman holding a shield, will be among the pieces displayed at the Louvre’s Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts exhibition, and will be shown from Dec. 11 to 14. “Having something shown at the Louvre is about as good as you can get,” Mr. Dow, 63, told The A.P. He added: “I’m a little humbled by the whole thing but grateful nonetheless.” The Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts exhibition will be held at the Carrousel du Louvre, a shopping area contained in the Louvre Palace, adjacent to the museum but not part of the museum itself.
I am about 25% sure of this.

The Louvre won't exhibit any of my fine works of art, but they'll let Wally show off something he made from some old hubcaps? What's next, the abstract expressionist work of Jerry Lewis made entirely of Fixodent?

Bunch of snobby French sissies.....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.
