Today in Naked Legal News.

#1 Post by themanintheseersuckersuit » Wed Nov 12, 2008 8:13 am

The lawsuit by the Naked Cowboy against candymaker Mars has been settled. Terms are undisclosed, the filing of a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice a sorry fig leaf over this tawdry affair.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

He was out in Times Square last Thursday. They were asking for a $2 "tip" to pose with him for a photo.

I can't imagine him being out there much longer, at least until April. The time I spent living in New York City was the longest, coldest winter I have ever had to endure. And by New York standards, it wasn't even that bad, or so I've heard.

I don't know - I was in NYC last December and he was out there, even amongst the snow flurries.

I was there chaperoning a trip for my daughter and the children's theater she performs with. We were there to see The Little Mermaid, and the Cowboy dude was on the way to the theatre.
