And they'll go great with that dress! Is this what it's like to have a personal shopper??? ;)

Now the fun part is going to the store tomorrow to see what the inventory is like...maybe I'll call ahead and see what they can assemble for me. Nordstrom is good like that.

I'll just think of it as lots of cash back, rather than a huge credit card bill...you gotta do what you gotta do, when a gala is involved!!

The nerve of you interrupting PSM and sunflower's gratuitous fashion thread with a gratuitous post.....

Like me. I do. Very much. Especially when you tell me it's okay and normal to spend more than $200 for a pair of shoes. Tell me as much as you want, it lessens the guilt. :)

If if hadn't been so late, I'm sure I could have found a lovely dress
and shoes for Sunflower to choose from as well. :)

If you do find any, feel free to add them. Like I was telling PSM, my local Nordstrom is notorious for not having much in stock in special occasions. It's always good to have a backup plan! I think they're going to deliver on the shoes but I may be stuck on the dress. Part of me wants to go right to Providence because theirs is much larger. I have plans tomorrow night so tonight is basically it for dress shopping, so I only get one chance to pick where I'm going to go!!!

My apologies. I just assumed any thread Kay posted in was gratuitous.

*gasp*

My good sir, no post about shoes can be considered gratuitousy. So let it be written.

Fashion and shoes!?!?!! Good Lord, I opened this thread thinking it would be a tell all that someone had sexual relations with Obama.

I'm so disappointed.

Shopping sucked tonight.

One Nordstroms, one Lord and Taylor, 3 Macy's, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, 2 White House Black Markets...

...and zero long black dresses in my size!!!

What the heck??? There was a poor selection to begin with, but any that I found, there were very limited sizes and nothing even remotely close to what would fit me. What are people buying all these dresses for???
