Greetings From Ed From Ed

#1 Post by TheConfessor » Mon Nov 03, 2008 5:09 pm

As long as I've got internet access here at the King Carl XII hotel, I thought I'd check in and let y'all know that I'm spending the night in Ed, Sweden. I didn't even know it existed until I noticed it on the map, so I decided I should go check it out. The local bowling establishment in Ed has only four lanes, and it appears to be league night, so that's not an option. Oh well, maybe next time.

So where's Dals?

Thanks for posting this Ed. Ed the cat and I are currently sharing a chair. He was semi-excited about a town named after him. Have a good time!

Whew! I'm glad I re-read this thread. I initially read it
as "after being breast fed by Fred".. which wouldn't necessarily be out
of character for this bored.

That explains why you weren't at Fado's tonight.

My brother was in town so we went along with my daughter Rachel and her friend Yoni Freund - who was just on J! kids reunion show about 6 weeks ago (came in 2nd and was the only one to get FJ! but it was a lock game because on the last DJ question, the other guy got the DD which put him out of reach - oh well). Anyway our team came in first so we qualify for the tourny next week...

We were hoping to see you there tonight... will you be back next week?

It is so cool that you found such a town and then went there - just because you could.

Why do I think that Ed is the most enthusiastic visitor to Ed that Ed tourism has ever encountered?

I hereby nominate Ed, Sweden, as the official Sister City (Brother City?) to the North American community known as WWTBAMBored.
