The Sploofus PTB obviously noticed my status last month. I'm batting only .500 for November so far, thanks to a question yesterday about who played a character in a movie where a) I have never watched the movie, and b) I didn't recognize a single actor's name in the list. Needless to say, the WAG was not successful. And so it goes.

That's what happened to me. Two months ago, I was near the top. Last month I got one wrong toward the beginning of the month (and a few more throughout the month) and don't believe I made it higher than #300. I'm off to a good start again this month. It seems to come in waves.

Did you log out and back in? That's what I have to do to get my total to update.

The update doesn't show up right away. I think you have to leave the site and come back to log in again later to check your new total.

The update doesn't show up right away. I think you have to leave the site and come back to log in again later to check your new total.

Rather than leaving, on your My Sploofus page, click on Site Settings, scroll all the way down to the bottom, and click on the Update Preferences bar. Fanny gets the credit for this tip.

I just saw a headline last night on my gmail about Sony recalling several hundred thousand PC batteries. I didn't read it, so I don't know the particulars, but you might want to check it out.
