Sen. McCain's speech was terrific. Some of his supporters (booing loudly whenever Obama's name was mentioned) less so. If the tables were turned and Obama had lost, I'da been pissed at any booing of McCain's name. Show some class. Sen. McCain surely did. I continue to like him, despite my disagreements with some of his proposals. It will be FAR from the worst cast scenario having him continuing his prominent presence in the Senate, where he can be much more of a "maverick" than he ever could've been as President. I hope and trust that he will be able to vote his conscience, whether it jives with his party or not.
Actually, I wish ALL of Congress would do that.

Unfortunately, the prerequisite there would be that they have a conscience.T_Bone0806 wrote:Actually, I wish ALL of Congress would do that.
