I stayed up to watch the election returns last night - elwing didn't want to watch a movie rerun on the Disney channel and there wasn't anything else that interested her. I switched off among the regular networks, CNN, MSNBC and Fox, just to see their various takes on the outcome. I must say that CNN's graphics (the "holograms", the "virtual Congress" and the voter analysis board where Soledad O'Brien hung out) were the most impressive, IMO. I must confess that I was surprised at the final outcome - I thought Obama might pull off a victory but the margin (in the Electoral College, at least) was more than I think any one truly expected.
Now all I have to do is concentrate on staying awake while trying to do some data mining.

Better hurry up - I heard Obama wants to bankrupt the data mining industry.earendel wrote:

Or something like that. I can't keep all the slurs and quotes-out-of-context straight.
