Local Results

#1 Post by TheCalvinator24 » Tue Nov 04, 2008 10:37 pm

GGRRRR!!!! It seems every election, my county posts the results online up to the nest to last update. The final precincts don't show up until the next day. There's only one race that is close enough that it matters, but it's a friend of mine, so I want to know if he held onto his office.

Of course, while I was typing that, they posted the final update. My friend was unseated by 134 votes. His precinct was the last Majority-minority one on our County Commissioner's Court. He won a close race 4 years ago for an open seat. Extra turnout for Senator Obama pushed him out.

After the re-districting after the 2010 census, there's no way the precinct stays Democrat.
