I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but...

Please vote.

I don't care who you vote for (OK, so I do, but I won't make this partisan!). Just vote.

Remember, if you don't vote, you have no right to bitch for the next 4 years.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

I dunno, KT. It doesn't seem to stop anybody.

I mean, I think everybody here votes. But I know some whiners who don't vote and are proud of it. "We're not political."

Makes me want to send Guido after them.

OK, not really.

Not voting is something I can't imagine.

Just like I can't imagine not exchanging gifts at Christmas or not having turkey on Thanksgiving.

I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Unless you happen to screw up and vote for whoever wins. Then the bitching rights go back to me, because I didn't elect any of those suckers!

I advise everyone to go to their local polling place and have an apathy party! Pull up a lawn chair, a 12 pack of beer, get a grill if it's warm enough, and enjoy life while the more patriotic than thou stand in line for a few hours and watch you in jealousy....
Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!

I'm lifting my moratorium on commenting on politics here to say that I completely disagree with this statement.

Rights, in my opinion, are not contingent on behavior. People either have them or they don't. Privileges are contingent on behavior. You can say that you will disregard any complaining from people who don't vote or even that people who don't vote should not complain but I will defend the right of people to complain whether they voted or not.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Um... Maybe I should have made it more explicit that that was meant to be funny.

Sorry. I hear people say that and I don't think they are kidding. I did not realize that you were trying to be funny.
