VA Weather

#1 Post by TheCalvinator24 » Tue Nov 04, 2008 10:04 am

The "blue" parts of the state are getting pounded with rain. Conventional Wisdom is that bad weather favors Republicans, but given the passion for Senator Obama, I'm not sure the CW will hold.

The system is supposed to move up to the Philadelphia area later.

Oh, and parts of Colorado are under a Winter Storm warning.

"What's your weather like?" was a question I realized later I should have put in the "How Did You Vote?" thread.

Here on Long Island, it's sunny, after morning fog, highs in the mid-60s. Early turnout in NYC is higher than anyone can recall.
I am about 25% sure of this.

Obama was just in Virginia last night.

How can he be "The One" if he can not even hold back the waters?

It's not raining here. Just drizzle off and on. It's actually kind of warm, too.

Norfolk is extremely blue, and this shouldn't keep anyone home.

Well, 9,000 people turned out for him in the pouring rain in Delaware County outside Philadelphia 10 days ago. The same day, McCain and Palin cancelled an outside rally in Bucks County at the same time because of the weather.

Maybe the only thing that matters is how many people are willing to walk IN water for their candidate.

 Winkin' right back at 'cha, appa.
