My town

#1 Post by peacock2121 » Sun Nov 02, 2008 11:19 am

The most recent statistics have surprised me. When I moved here, I was introduced (by my neighbor) to the local chair of the Republican's as "one of the few democrats in town". That was in 1997.

Latest stats:

Registered Republicans: 975
Registered Democrats: 607

My prejudice tells me that those New Yorkers are moving into town.

That, or the neighbors are fearing the Wrath of Pea.

My hometown, Clarence, outside of Buffalo is one of the most lilywhite, Republican places on earth...and, in the latest polling for the congressional race there, the dem and the republican are in a dead heat.

Sorta tells me everything I need to know about how this election is going.

LOL - Most of them have their heads too far up their butts to even know they should fear the wrath of me.
