On the heels (sort of) of my relative success in reaching the second day of a multi-day event, I'll be playing tomorrow in the Unit Final of our District's Flight A North American Open Pairs competition. All we need to do to qualify for the District Final is finish either (a) in the top 60% of the field (including ties) or (b) with a score of average or above. Of course, that's been the case for years and I haven't achieved that standard yet.
Wish me luck! --Bob

You got it! Best of luck. Trump that king, trump that king! (Does bridge have cheerleaders?)
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Good luck.
Bridge should have cheerleaders, by the way.
So should curling.

I am about 25% sure of this.

Good luck Bob!!! This is the year.
I had fun last night playing bridge on BBO. Fred Hamilton was playing with a client (I think his girlfriend) and I was able to play at the "table" against them. My partner was an unkown "expert". We played 11 boards (IMPS) and we were up 17.06 imps at the end. I got my Bridge Bulletin yesterday and if I remember right Fred is ranked 11th in all time MPS with 32,000.
