Fox has announced that this will be the last season of King of the Hill, the second longest running animated network series in TV history (behind the Simpsons). A couple of new animated series are in development.
Also, ratings for Life on Mars continue to decline. It finished third in the ratings last night, behind CBS rookie Eleventh Hour and 900-year-old ER on NBC. Mars loses about 40% of its Grey's Anatomy leadin. ABC doesn't have anything to replace it with right now so it will probably be on the air, more or less, for another month but look for it to be replaced in its plum Thursday at 10 slot by either Lost or Grey's. Since Mars got a good initial sampling, it indicates people have tried it and just don't like it, which is a shame since it's a cleverly written, well acted show (and Gretchen Mol is hot, although I confess I said the same thing a couple of weeks ago about Marley Shelton).

Re: King of the Hill Over the Hill
Figures. I like Life on Mars. My original prediction that it would get trounced in the ratings appears to sadly be coming true. Dang.
