QOD Tuesday-week 4

#1 Post by ulysses5019 » Tue Oct 28, 2008 2:19 am

Today's category is movies:

Tom Hulce made his movie debut in a 1977 film about James Dean. What 1978 comedy was his second film?

Monday's answer was indeed the Hoosier general, Lew Wallace.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Thank you sir, may I have another? For 6 points, "Animal House".
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

I've only seen one movie with Mr. Tom Hulce. Parts of it were pretty funny, but it made me sad at the end. Even so, I have to guess it because it's the only guess I've got. For two points, I guess that it was the movie about my favorite composer -- Amadeus.

Even it that's not right, thank you for starting my day with good thoughts about Mr. Mozart.

Who, or what, is Tom Hulce?
Spoiler
Actually, I think I remember him as Mozart in "Amadeus". Not sure that is the right time frame. Or is a comedy. At least not intentionally...

I will go with my standard movie answer this month. Porky's. 2 points (obviously)

I'm guessing it was something execrable, but famous, like Porky's. 1977 seems too early for that, but it's all I've got. 2 points.
