Funny Conversation

#1 Post by PlacentiaSoccerMom » Mon Oct 27, 2008 11:26 am

Hemopet: Hi, I just want to let you know that we have Zap scheduled for 11:30 on Bubble Bath day.
Julie: Great!
Hemopet: We also wanted to let you know that we will be set up to have pictures with Santa.
Julie: [Pause]
Julie: Uhm, Zap is Jewish.
Hemopet: [Pause]
Hemopet: [Slight laugh]
Hemopet: We will be set up for all of the holidays.
Julie: Great, we see what kind of picture we can get.

Don't get too close to the menorah, Zap. Fur burns.
I am about 25% sure of this.

Too funny! You know, I have never asked my dogs about their religious preferences, but I have noticed that most of them have been somewhat leery about Santa Claus. Perhaps I should ask if a rabbi is on the premises for the next holiday photo op.

Well, I just figure that his sisters consider themselves to be Jewish, so I didn't want to him to feel left out.

No doubt! As a peace offering to apologize for making them spend the weekend in the kennel, I stopped at McDonald's on the way home from Lizbit's school to buy french fries for the three of us to share.

The latkes would be healthier.

Not with all the oil my mom used to make them with. Or the schmaltz my bubbeh used. But oh, were they good!
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

The bris must have been interesting!

Does this mean that you will throw a big shindig for Zap's bar mitzvah?
