QOD week 4-Monday

#1 Post by ulysses5019 » Sun Oct 26, 2008 5:20 pm

These are the last five questions. Same scoring for the first four: 2, 4, 6 or 8. Use each point value only once. The Friday question will be similar to week 2 except that the bid will be worth 2-20 points (even bids only). If the answer is incorrect, half the value of the bid will be deducted. So there can be a 30 point swing on the final question. That being said, here is the topic tree:

Literature
Movies
Airlines
Food
Geography

Monday's question:

What book, written by a Civil War general, won an Oscar for best picture?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

It's nice to be back on line again. They put a new lock on the door of the room that has the computer I like at the boarding kennel. It makes me think those people don't trust me.

Just realized I probably won't get a crack at the final question as I will be heading for Africa on Thursday afternoon. Not that it would have any impact on the final standings!
