Transcript 11/14/2007 - Robyn Madden (carryover contestant)
Robyn Madden
Bayville, NY
Former waitress at "Cheers" in Boston
It's TV Week on BAM.
It's the best and busiest job Robyn has ever had - people formed lines around the block, tourists wanted to know trivia and talk about the show. People would ask if they were being filmed. She said that just in case they should tip their waitress well. Robyn's husband Richard is in the audience and Robyn is 4-1/2 months pregnant.
$300 - "Dy-no-mite" is the catchphrase of what popular TV character?
A - J.J. Evans
B - Barney Fife
C - Steve Urkel
D - Zack Morris
$500 - What hit TV series' pilot was a two-hour movie titled "Panic at Malibu Pier"?
A - The Man from Atlantis
B - Walker, Texas Ranger
C - Baywatch
D - Airwolf
Robyn is pretty sure she knows the answer but she wants to poll the audience.
ATA results:
A - 3%
B - 1%
C - 95%
D - 1%
Robyn thanks the audience.
Meredith says that the next question is the TV theme song question - she will read the question and she and the audience will sing the words.
$1K - What sitcom opens with the theme song excerpted here?
(Audience sings:
Thank you for being a friend
Travel down the road and back again.
Your heart is true
you're a pal and a confidente.)
A - Barney Miller
B - Who's the Boss
C - The Golden Girls
D - Kate & Allie
$2K - In a classic "Sesame Street" animated short, a little girl ventures to the store for a loaf of bread, a container of milk and what?
A - a jar of jam
B - a stick of butter
C - a sack of potatoes
D - a carton of eggs
Her heart wants her to say "D" but she's not positive. She decides to use her 50/50 because it's been a long time since she watched the show. The 50/50 leaves B and D. Robyn is happy with what she has and goes with "D" as her final answer. She drops back to $1K.

Could we possibly be spared this? The audience can't sing on-key.BBTranscriptTeam wrote:Meredith says that the next question is the TV theme song question - she will read the question and she and the audience will sing the words.
It's been a long time since I watched the show, too, but I remember this little bit. She also left her last lifeilne on the table.BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$2K - In a classic "Sesame Street" animated short, a little girl ventures to the store for a loaf of bread, a container of milk and what?
