Opie returns! (nostalgia alert / mild political content)

#1 Post by TheConfessor » Thu Oct 23, 2008 10:49 pm

Here's a very interesting video that I assume is making the rounds, but if anyone here has mentioned it, I didn't notice. It's noteworthy for the actors involved, and could easily be the inspiration for future trivia questions.

Thanks.

Well, that was cute. Really. One of the actor's support was a total surprise--to me.

Oh, and can you really order pancake makeup by the barrel?

I'm assuming the one who surprised you was Griffith. I was somewhat surprised, too, because I believe I've seen that Griffith is a Republican.

One thing that the video made clear was that Howard is right to stick to Directing.

And since the video was uploaded on "Funny or Die" I'll point out that it wasn't the least bit funny.

Too true. There is nothing funny about this election--well, except for a number of posts on this bored.

Very enjoyable!

Thanks, Ed!

Griffith is a mainstay of Democratic politics in Manteo, NC. This is the first time he's endorsed a national candidate or used the Sheriff Taylor character in politics, though.
