Speaking of medals

#1 Post by Bob Juch » Thu Oct 23, 2008 9:28 am

What famous medal has a relief of three nekkid men with their arms on each others' shoulders?

OK, I'll guess.
Spoiler
The Olympic gold medal. I don't know whether they have a standard engraving or they differ based on a design submitted by the home country. But "nekkid men" and "three" seem to point in the direction of the Olympics (citius, altius, fortius).

Would seem to be only two obvious initial choices when it comes to "famous" medals, the Olympic medal and the Nobel prize medal. I suppose each Nobel category could be different so I would guess that if Olympic medal is wrong, and they usually seem to be designed differently for each game although I don't know if one side is always the same, then I would say Nobel peace prize.
