Our Long National Nightmare Continues

#1 Post by WheresFanny » Wed Oct 22, 2008 12:15 pm

Cloris Leachman is still on Dancing with the Stars.

And next week's group dance is a hip hop number.
We, the HK Brigade, do hereby salute you, Marley, for your steadfast devotion to ontopicosity. Well done, sir!

I vote for her.

I hope that I am just as sassy when I am that age.

No, but his legacy continues in that other thread about Palin's new wardrobe.

Cave Woman to Cave Man: What? Another fur?! Me sick of fur! Me want cloth coat!!!

Is that one of Sarah Palin's new GOP-funded outfits?

I like it!

But why is Barack Obama wearing such high heels? Just how tall is Sarah Palin, anyhow??

So you're the one responsible for this?

I like Cloris Leachman and, if she was on Getting Old and Sassy with the Stars, I'd have no problem with it.

But I'm tired of her getting the same scores as people who are really working hard and doing well for just moving a couple of steps, forgetting the next ones and then just standing there waiting for Corky to come up and turn her in the right direction and position her limbs like she was a Real Doll.

I'm tired of Corky's mugging and his raunchy and buffoonish choreography.

Most of all, I'm tired of Cloris having to have the spotlight at all times. She is constantly horning in on other couples' interviews and she gets away with it because she's old. But the worse part was when she couldn't even let those kid dancers have their few minutes on national tv without butting in and making it about her.

And, since she's still around, instead of a really good group dance next week we'll just see clowning around. Because that's all she can do. It's the DWTS equivalent of No Child Left Behind.

Florence Henderson gave her a little smack down the other day.
